This Privacy Policy explains how 19TH TAB GOLF LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (EIN 42-2063687) ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the 19^th TAB GOLF web application ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: email address, display name, and password (or OAuth token) when you register.
• Player profiles: names, handicap indices, and other golf data you enter for yourself and your playing partners.
• Round data: scores, hole-by-hole results, side-bet configurations, and payout calculations.
• Email capture (optional): if you choose to email yourself a scorecard at round-end, we collect the email address you provide and your opt-in preference for marketing communications.
• Feedback: any messages you submit through the in-app feedback form.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: screens visited, features used, rounds started/completed, timestamps.
• Device and browser data: browser type, OS, device type, screen resolution, language preference, and referring URL.
• IP address and approximate location: used for fraud prevention and analytics.
• Firebase analytics data: session duration, crash reports, and performance metrics via Google Firebase.

1.3 Payment Information

We do not collect or store payment card numbers. All payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy LLC, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate and provide the Service (scoring, payouts, statistics)
• Authenticate your account and enforce access controls
• Credit token pack purchases to your account via Lemon Squeezy webhook events
• Send transactional communications (purchase receipts, account notices)
• Send marketing emails only if you opt in (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Infrastructure

The Service is built on Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Firestore). Your data is stored on Firebase infrastructure in the United States.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers: Google Firebase (database/auth/analytics), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Netlify (hosting) — solely to operate the Service.
• Twilio Inc. (SMS / text-message delivery) — receives mobile numbers solely to deliver event text messages you have consented to receive.
• USGA / GHIN: If you use the optional WHS score posting feature, we transmit the differential data you authorize to GHIN on your behalf.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 receives anonymized usage event data. We do not pass PII (name, email) to GA4.
• Law enforcement: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

19TH TAB GOLF LLC operates a text-messaging (SMS) program. You opt in only on our public SMS sign-up page at https://19thtabgolf.com/sms, where you enter your mobile number and check an affirmative consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. Providing a phone number when registering for an event does not subscribe you to text messages — the standalone sign-up page is the only opt-in path. By opting in you give express consent to receive event-related text messages from 19^th TAB GOLF — sign-up confirmations, event invitations, check-in reminders, scoring updates, and results notifications.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors or service providers that support the messaging service (such as our SMS delivery provider, Twilio Inc.) is permitted solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies by event participation (a typical user receives 2–5 messages per event). Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, of using the Service, or of participating in any event. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help, or email 19thtabgolf@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Within the app, event hosts can see who has joined their event but cannot view participants' raw phone numbers — contact details are stored in sealed form accessible only to our messaging system.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

• Functional cookies / localStorage: to remember your preferences, session state, and installed PWA status.
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. You may opt out via Google Analytics Opt-out.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your data, and to opt out of marketing emails. To exercise any of these rights, email us at 19thtabgolf@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Security Rules, HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and Firebase Auth credential management. No system is 100% secure; in the event of a breach, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We will post material changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
